Strategic Importance of this Role to the Company

Pre Sales / Marketing Consultants have to be excellent collaborators, as most of their job involves working with the sales team. They have to be top-notch communicators, as part of their job often involves interacting with customers. They do have to have some technical knowledge to do their job. They often use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to assist the sales team in efficient customer communication.

Key Responsibilities for this position are:

1. Project Coordinator – Presales / Marketing:

Daily:
  • Conducting minimum of 2 product demos
  • Preparing at least 1 proposal document with time estimation / day
  • Handling of at least 2 requirement gathering calls / day
Weekly:
  • Market research in Identifying the Right Target audience, region and target industry vertical.
  • Briefing to sales team on the Right Target Audience & Stakeholders
  • Identify New Revenue streams and position the Product potential for approvals
  • Attract Right Target audience by Preparing the MKTG Collaterals for Product (News, Case study, Blog, Quora Answers for 4 each / product)
  • Act as a Liaison between Sales & Tech Team to add value to the role.
  • Handling of engagement calls to convert the prospects into Clients – 5 calls
  • Initiating client engagement calls to do upselling & Cross selling – 3 calls
Monthly:
  • Participate in review Meetings with Marketing Team – 1 /month
  • Provide Product Knowledge Support to Sales Team – 1 /month
  • Craft Sales Pitches for Sales Team – 2 /month
  • Lead generation Support – On demand
  • Active Client & partner engagements to convert order & partner enablement – 4 calls /month
  • Organizing Webinar & liaising with Sales team for registrations – 2 /month

2. Provide WOW! Customer Service:

Daily:
  • Listen Customer Needs & requirements and suggest suitable solution
  • Not Selling, Buying by customer itself
  • Probing & Objection handling
  • Follow the defined process for Consistent performance & improvement
Weekly:
  • Assist Sales Team in Qualifying Prospects
  • Provide Product Knowledge Support to Sales Team
  • Provide MKTG campaign Inputs & support Lead generation
Monthly:
  • Proactive engagement in Order closure
  • Proactive engagement in partner Acquisition & Presales Support
  • Proactive Engagement in New Acquisition & Presales Support
  • Proactive Engagement for Upselling & Cross selling

3. Learning Program:

  • Bi monthly / quarterly learning program is organized / offered (such as webinars, Learning sessions, Storytelling) to learn new methodologies and to adapt with the current market condition & to improve professional growth opportunities.
  • Weekly MKTG training programmes to learn Latest industry trends & Industry best practices approach knowledge sharing

4. Lead Measures-Critical Driver’s (Do This):

  • Conducting minimum of 2 product demos
  • Preparing at least 1 proposal document with time estimation / day
  • Handling of at least 2 requirement gathering calls / day
  • Market research in Identifying the Right Target audience, region and target industry vertical.
  • Briefing to sales team on the Right Target Audience & Stakeholders
  • Weekly pipeline review & reporting
  • Engage (mails & calls) with prospects & customers
  • Proactive Root Cause Analysis with for any deviations / complaints.
  • Attract Right Target audience by Preparing the MKTG Collaterals for Product (News, Case study, blog, Quora Answers for 4 each / product)

5. Lag Measures-Key Performance Indicators (Get This):

  • Order won man-days achievement: 200 man days / month
  • Product Demo: 44 /month
  • Proposal man days: 1000 man days / Month
